It was in 1946, shortly after the war, when Yanagihara developed its first model roll flour mill. Since then, our aim has been to manufacture for a certain something beyond just a flour mill. For example, a person may start a business with one flour mill made by Yanagihara, with the support of their family. Cooking or baking using flour made with this mill will bring smiles to many people. We go beyond simply offering flour mills to something greater than that. This is the pride of Yanagihara.

Yanagihara is by no means a big company. But in fact our small size makes some things possible that big companies cannot easily do. We can, for example, remove the worries of people who use products of Yanagihara with our quick response. To that end, we are always trying to improve our ability to make suggestions and proposals. Because we are small in number, we believe it is possible to share our knowledge and utilize it in our next proposal. We do all of this for the sake of the confidence of users of Yanagihara products.

As everyone konws, Nagano Prefecture is famous for the production of buckwheat noodles. We have been doing business with local clients for over 70 years since we started our firm here in Nagano. The reputation of our products has spread to other prefectures, and they are now shipped to the whole of Japan. But Nagano will always remain our place of origin from which we continue to provide our products and services.
